Madison's 2nd Big Adventure

This first picture is of my niece Jayden's at her 5th b-day party. We had just went to Simi for her b-day and to have Miss Madison meet her new cousin's for the first time. It was so cute because she wanted to hold Mady the whole time while we were there.

Well, the other day I was feeding Miss Madison and when we feed her she normally does not eat the whole 3 oz. She will eat 2 oz then about 30 min later she will eat the rest. Well, I this day Miss Mady was such a big girl she ate the whole 3 oz and I was so proud of her. When I went to go burp her she started sounding funny with her breathing and I got worried, but before I could get her off my should to look at her she threw up. I had leaned forward to get from the coach and started to get her off my shoulder and this was the result! All down my back and some on the front of me. So, much fun :). It seems that I am the only one who gets all the fun things!
This Saturday the 30th we went down to Simi for Jayden's 5th b-day, to have lunch with Aimee and Tania and then for Danny parents to see Miss Madison again. It was a busy day. I woke up at about 430am because Mady was hungry. I fed her and we both went back to sleep. I only got another 45 mins of sleep because I had to wake up and start getting ready and putting things together for a busy and long day. We fed her again about 7am and then we were on the road at about 730am. We got to Danny's parents house at about 845 so Danny's grandma could see her and for his parents to see her again. We took off from there at about 1215 and went by Alex and Jackie's house (my parents ex-ex next door neighbors in Simi) so they could see her. They were so thrilled that we brought her by and were thankful that we thought of them. Then, we met Aimee and Tania (my friends) for lunch at about 1pm. Then about 215 we were on our way to Jayden's b-day party before everyone got there because Miss Mady has not had her shots and I did not want a whole crowd of people around her. My niece's and Jessica ( my bro Jeff ex-wife) got to met her and hold her for about an hour. We stopped by one more place and then headed back to Danny's parents so Emerson's Mom ( Emerson is Danny's best friend) could see and met her. We then took off to go back home about 615-630.
Miss Madison did great and was such a good girl. Everyone was so surprised at how good she is with other people holding her. Danny and I are blessed to have such a beautiful and calm daughter that I know we are blessed to have her. It was a long, fun and tiring day. When we head down to N. Hollywood and Simi we always have places to go because we miss everyone and love to see how people are doing since we don't see or talk to them everyday.
We were glad to be back home! :)

Thankyou very much Marisa for Miss Madison's outfit. It fits her just right, but in a week or two it will not fit anymore. My little girl is getting bigger already.
The anniversary dinner went great. It was nice to get out of the house and have a nice dinner with Danny. We of course talked about Miss Madison but also the years that we have been together ( 5 years in total). We went to a really nice Italian resturant. It is so nice that they have waiters in the far back of the resturant where they can see people eating so when you are done withe your plate they come right away to clear the area.
A shout out to my cousin Marisa "Happy Birthday"! Have a great day!

The Gonzalez Big Adventure

Well, Saturday Danny's parents and younger brother came up to visit Miss Madison. My Dad cooked dinner on Friday so all we had to do was heat it up on Saturday and then make a salad and cook the garlic bread. That evening, minus my parents, we played the Wii. Then, Sunday was going to be Miss Madison's first day of some adventures (and mine too). First, we took Miss Madison to church in the morning at 845 am, then about 1230 the three of us took off to the Kern River where my friend Aimee, her fiance and a couple of her family members were camping. About 20 -30 mins into driving Miss Madison is crying and it is her feeding time or maybe gas. So we pull over at a hiking spot to feed her. During the feeding she lets out which seems to be either a big fart or poop. After the feeding Danny takes her to the back of his car to change her and sure enough she had a HUGH poop, I mean HUGH, WATERY AND YELLOW. As Danny was about to change her this herd of a Mexican family comes near Danny to see the little one. I am in the back and I can see out but they can not see me because of his tinted windows. I notice one of them looking down into Danny's shorts (the one's that have pockets on the sides). He looks and walks a little bit away and the mother of the herd says something in Spanish about how cute and small Miss Madison is (not thinking Danny knows Spanish) and of course Danny responds to what she said by saying how old she is, but while the mother was saying that and Danny responding I noticed the guy come back to Danny and this time a little closer and looking at his pocket. Now, I am worried and get out of the car whisper to Danny about the guy, quickly change Miss Mady (as I am faster at changing her), sweep her up and we all jumped in the car and took off. Just a little scary. We are about 5 mins away as Miss Madison is screaming again. We finally get to the spot and notice that there is a 5 mile an hour zone so I take out Miss Mady and comfort her while we are waiting for Aimee to get us. We finally make it and we enjoyed our stay.
We finally left about 5pm and knew she would not get hungry because she just had eaten. No, No, No it was when we drove out of the camp site she is crying again and is hungry. We pull over and have her latch on because it has been about 4 1/2 hours since I last pumped. After about 10 mins she is good and we are on our way home. We finally get home about 6 15 which is not bad (it only takes about 45 mins to get to the River).
Well, that was really Miss Madison and my big adventure in close to 2 months. It was great to get out and see Aimee and everyone.

Happy 1 Year Anniversary

First, I just want to say it is hard typing with one hand!!! Yes, I am holding Miss Mady as I am typing this.

Miss Madison's Dr. Appointment Results

Well, Miss Madison weighs in at 8 1/2 lbs, yes you read that right, 8 lbs. She has gained a great amount of weight so whatever we are doing we have to kept it up. Also, she has added 2 inches in length to her body. The Dr did answer all of our questions again. She still has the umbilical hernia which the Dr says will go away. The gas situation will be there and she will eventually grow out of it. Also, she has had 2 maybe 3 loose bowel movements and he did not seem to concerned right now and said just to watch them. She did get the Hep B shot and I did not cry at this one as she did not cry for very long. In 3 weeks when we go back for all the others we will see how we both do.
Danny starts school on the 26th and I am sure he is not looking forward to it but he has to finish. He has come so far and he is almost there. He will hopefully be able to apply for the nursing program next Jan as he has 4 more classes he has to take before he can apply.
Monday night for some reason Miss Madison was screaming bloody murder for 3 hours with Danny and 30 min for me. I guess it was gas but who knows. I eventually took off her clothes and put her to my chest and playing some soft music and she then really calm down. Poor Danny should have gotten me earlier to help him (I guess he did not want to bug me because I was sleeping). She finally went to bed about 230 am and slept the rest of the day but did wake up for feedings.
Her diaper rash has gone away thanks to my cousin Marisa for the cream. Also, I found that when I used a certain wipe to wipe her she got the diaper rash again so needless to say we stopped using those particular wipes.
Everything else is going great and I can not wait until Miss Madison and I can walk in the mall, park and visit Daddy at work when she gets her first shots.

1 Month Old

Yesterday, was Miss Madison's 1 Month b-day. Can you believe it she is already 1 month old. She is a good baby (knock on wood). She hardly cries, she sleep's all the time (especially when Grandma holds her) and she is so darn cute.
Tuesday night Miss Mady decided that at 230 am she did not want to go to sleep or sit in her chair while I pump. So of course, I have to pick her up and she is happy as can be with her smiles and open eyes. So almost 2 hours later she is finally asleep and I very much sleepy am excited to go back to bed but I still have to finish my pumping. Then, Wednesday my parents had come over and my mom sent me to go take a nap while she watches Miss Mady. I felt so much better with that 2 hour nap (Thanks Mom).
Last night was much better (maybe because I had a little talk with her the night she kept me up). She ate her early breakfast and 1 hour later she went to bed.
I am back to working out which feels great and I just have 15lbs to lose to get back to my pre-prego weight.
Danny will post Miss Mady 1 month pic this weekend to show you how she has grown.
