Rough Night

So, last night we had a difficult time with Miss Madison. I had went for a nap around 930 pm and knew I had to get up in 2 hours to pump. So, when I woke up (which was very difficult) Danny was feeding Miss Madison. We have decided to feed Miss Mady formula at night and breast milk during the day. I got done pumping and Miss Mady was slowly falling asleep, but then she woke up wanting to feed again and we had already given her 2 oz. I had her latch on for maybe 20 mins and during that time she was sleeping in and out. Then, again she woke up wanting to feed again. I told Danny to go get some formula about 1/2 oz and maybe she will fall asleep...and did she... no she wanted more. Needless to say we did not go to bed until 5 am. Poor Danny had worked all day, but he wanted to help. I kept telling him give her to me and go to bed (at least I had gotten naps all day) but he would not listen.
Miss Mady woke me up around 8 to feed again and she went right to sleep. Then, we both took a nap. She woke up again at about 1030 and wanting to feed again and she did and went right to sleep. Then, 1130 she woke up, yes an hour later, wanting more and I had just pumped so I gave her that milk. Boy this girl can eat, eat and eat.
I had Danny sleep in today since he worked really hard yesterday and he finally got up around 12.
Miss Mady eats, eats, poops, pees and sleeps. Boy, I can not wait until we can start playing and she can take real naps.
Danny is going to the casino today since he won the bet with the birth. I told him he has to go by 2 so that way I can get another nap in today. He better win some money or I will be mad.

I love reading such stories. It brings back those rough days we had with Inara. I think all new parents experience such nights. Unfortunately, it will be awhile until Miss Madison gets on any sort of schedule and just when you think you've figured her out, she'll go and change things up on you. It was about the 6 month where I could really start doing other things besides being at her beck and call and she actually started playing. Hang in there. Hope Danny won some money too to pay for formula. ha ha!

By the way, I keep forgetting to ask how is Danny doing and have you heard anything about the biopsy?
